With over 20 years of experience, César Tello is an accomplished architect specializing in the design, supervision, and construction of residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings across Canada and South America.
About César Tello
His practice is grounded in a deep understanding of construction techniques that align with both Canadian and Latin American architectural standards. Tello’s work reflects a blend of functionality, creativity, and technical precision.
In 1993, inspired by the growing connection between Ecuador and Canada, César co-founded the Chamber of Commerce of Ecuador in Canada, where he later served as Vice President and Chairman of the Board.
Between 2008 and 2016, he led a wide range of projects in Ecuador through his firm Tello & Associates, consulting with both public and private clients.
Since 2016, he has established his architectural practice in Canada, founding TELLO DESIGN BUILD LTD., and has developed numerous small to mid-size design-build projects throughout Ontario.
César has also dedicated part of his career to education, working as an assistant professor at the Central University and as a high school teacher. In 2010, driven by his passion for teaching, he joined the architecture programs at both the Central University and Catholic University of Quito, mentoring new generations of designers.
Architecture should not only solve spatial needs, but also inspire, connect, and respect its environment. Every space tells a story—we help you build yours
